Its soft foam EPE surfboard deck gives it a great soft top with a strong EPS core with an HDPE hard slick bottom makes it fast and responsive. Plus this tough Storm Born series of soft surfboards has dual wooden stringers in the models from 4’11 up to 6ft surfboards. The 7ft, 8ft, and 9ft Storm Borns have 3 stringers. Two stringers of wood plus additional fiberglass, making these truly Storm Born for strength. Liquid Shredder’s advanced vacuum bag technology bonds the materials into a virtual monocoque surfboard structure. This process is used in high-end epoxy surfboard brands.
Another advantage of the Storm Born surfboards is that can go finless. No special adaptors or hardware is required. The shorter models can be used as beater boards so you can use them in a lot many places as they can ride just about any water condition. The longer model can be crazy loose finless sliders.
